On Wednesday, September 18 Cross Country held a team meal at the Bonham before their meet in Geneva the following day.
“The meal at the Bonham was really fun,” Kacy Starck ’21 said. “I think it was so kind of the Bedlan family to sponsor the movie for us and the food and movie were very good.”
Cross Country started their practice at the city park and then went to the Bonham. Dave and Laura Bedlan rented the Bonham just for the Cross Country team. A bunch of the parents brought pastas for the runners to eat. They then watched the movie Overcomer.
“This is probably the most fun team meal we have ever had!” Coach Kristi Peterson said. “We have some runners who had never been to the Bonham, so it was good to see them enjoy the overall experience.”
