Friday, September 20 the Fairbury football team traveled to Falls City to take on the 3-0 Tigers. With a 28-7 victory, the Jeffs evened their record to 2-2.
Junior Brody Kroll and Senior Seth Firmanik combined for 336 rushing yards. Kroll had a whopping 219 individual rushing yards and one touch town to go along with a 93-yard kick return for a touchdown.
“It’s our focus throughout the whole week. We wanted to come out and beat them. They were a undefeated team,” Firmanik. said. “We knew we could and we did. Our team has major goals for this year’s season and we are going to meet them.”
Friday, Sept. 27 Jeffs will take on the Aurora Huskies at home. The game will begin at 7 p.m and the theme is “Jeff Pride.”
