Jeffs Come Out With Their First Win On Homecoming Night

On Homecoming night the Jeffs came out with their first win over the Fillmore Central Panthers. The Jeffs won the game with a score of 28-7

Quarterback Jax Biehl 23’ led the Jeffs offense going 17-27 and 205 passing yards. Biehl contributed to the Jeff’s offense totaling three passing touchdowns.

“My receivers were doing an excellent job of getting open,” Biehl said. “They were making it really easy for me to get them the ball.”

The team was happy to win on homecoming night especially Connor Gerths. Gerths was happy that they finally won a game and that it might spark something in their team.

“It felt amazing to finally come out on top and get the win,” Gerths said. “This might finally get our team going and help us win some more.”

Zane Grizzle 22’ was previously the starting quarterback before he was injured and Biehl had to step in. Grizzle was then moved to running back and he thinks that  these changes were a big success for their team.

“I did enjoy playing quarterback but I always wanted to play another position,” Grizzle said. “I was moved to running back and that opened up a lot of opportunities for our team.”
