The Girls BNFF Team lost in a close dual with Pius X with a final score of 89-88. Despite the lost, the team still had some impressive performances. The 400 Yard Free Relay and 200 Yard Medley Relay both won. Junior Mikwena Lierman scored ten points for the team and won her 50 Yard Free. Camryn Wisnieski ’21 won the diving competition. Junior Josi Mans won her 500 Yard Free. Mikya Lierman ’23 placed second in the 50 Free behind her sister.

“The atmosphere of the meet was completely different than it usually is,” Briaunna Knothe ’21 said. “I think the rivalry of the two teams (BNFF and Pius) has been very heated for multiple years. It came down to the last three events.”

The divers will be competing Friday night at Elkhorn, and the swimmers will be competing the day after.
