The girls golf team hosted a dual against Seward on Monday September 30. The Jeffs had
four golfers compete: Casey Nimmich ’20, Lauren Patton ’20, Makena Schramm ’23 and Ericka Kroeker ’22. Their next gold meet will be on Thursday, October 3 in Lincoln.
“We can improve on getting the ball in the fairway off the tee,” Coach Jed Martin said. “Hopefully we are playing our best golf as we go into Districts next week.”
Patton shot a 51, Nimmich shot a 58, Schramm shot a 63 and Kroeker shot a 64. The girls played 9 holes. Patton thinks that they definitely improved yesterday compared to her last two meets, but she still has goals for this season.
“This season I’d like to bring down my score at every meet and get a new pr,” Patton said. “I think that as a team we could improve on having a positive attitude even on days where we’re not playing well.”
