On January 8th, Jeffs basketball hosted the Wilber Wolverines. Kicking the night off first were the Junior Varsity games. The boys beat Wilber with a final score of 52-41.
Dylan Starr ’21 lead the Jeffs’ team with 19 points. Ethan Smith ’22 dropped 17 points. Zane Grizzle ’22 had 13 points for the Jeffs. Jacob Martin ’22 had 2 points and Josh Robertson ’21 had 1 to help the team beat Wilber with an 11 point deficit.
“It was one of out best team wins,” Ethan Smith ’22 said. “We have a great group of kids, who are always encouraging each other. We did a great job on offense and played a decent defensive game.”
