Jeffs fall short to Lincoln Christian

The Jeffs Boys Basketball team started the season off on a rocky start. The boys fought a hard battle against the Crusaders last Friday but fell short with a 40-80 loss. Bret Cole ’20 and Isaac Roberton ’19 led the team both with 11 overall points.

“I think out first time playing this year as a unit was pretty good. [Lincoln Christian] were more experienced in playing due to their Jamboree game compared to us.” Joe Melcher ’20 said.

This isn’t quite the way the team planned to start the season but there is only progress to be made from here on out. The team can now look back and see what they need to improve on as individuals and also as a team.

“Our goal is to keep getting better everyday and continuing to work hard as the season progresses so we can be where we want to be at the end of the year.” Robertson ’19 said.
