The Fairbury Jeffs faced a tough match for their last home game of the season. They lost to Milford in three sets. The final scores were 25-17, 25-20, and 25-18. The Jeffs play again on Monday, October 29, 2018 against Auburn.
“We didn’t do as well as we would hope for our last in season home game, but we did see some positive aspects of our play,” volleyball coach Hannah Rundle said. “Our goals going into sub districts are to beat Auburn this evening at six!”
It was an emotional night for the Lady Jeffs Volleyball Team. They celebrated parents night and recognized the seniors. This year there are five seniors.
“It was kind of an emotional rush,” Janessa Swanda ’19 said when asked about how it felt to play her last home game. “It was really hard knowing that it was our last home game, but I think we played really well.”
