On Thursday, October 4 the junior high football was in action at home against Wilber Clatonia. For their last game of the year, the Jeffs fought hard and defeated the Wolverines 28 to 22.
“Our season was good but it could have been better,” James Olds ‘23 said. “We went 4-2.”
As the last game of the season, expectations were high for both the players and the coaches. For some athletes, it was their last chance to prove themselves on a level before high school athletics.
“We wanted to get as many wins as possible this season,” Auggie Judd ‘23 said. “Our goal was to be physical and have good effort.”
