Wednesday night, the Lady Jeffs Varsity Volleyball Team took down Southern in all three sets. The final scores of the sets were 25-15, 25-22, and 25-17. The team will be back in action at David City on Thursday.
“I thought we played pretty well last night,” Sara Huss ’20 said. “The serve receive passing was very consistent which attributed to our ability of being able to have a high hitting efficiency. We still need to clean up our serving a little, but each game we play is getting us a step closer to the level we want to be at come districts time!”
This game was the annual dig pink game to raise awareness for breast cancer. The team wore pink jerseys and the theme night was “pink out!” The cheerleaders even sported pink bows and poms.
