Trap shooters earn more medals at Nebraska City

On Saturday, April 7, trap shooters traveled to Nebraska City for the second time this season. They had six medalists and one of them was Kyle Gregory ’21.

“I was excited because it was my first medal of the season,” Gregory said.

The individual scores from this meet are: Lane Zabokrtsky ’21- 90/100, Riley Stewart ’21- 87/100, Brock Barton ’18- 84/100, Jacob Maschmann ’18- 84/100, Gregory- 78/100, Cashe Kroll ’21- 79/100, Thomas Kroeker ’19- 78/100 and Ethan Hintz ’21- 66/100.

“I want to shoot 45/50 or above for the rest of the season,” Gregory said.

The first team (Zabokrtsky, Barton, Stewart, Tietjen (Thayer), and Roop (Thayer) received medals for team high overall runner-up. Zabokrtsky earned a medal for second place in the 24/25 yard handicap and second high overall individual. Stewart received a medal for first place in the 22/23 yard handicap. Gregory received a medal for third place in the 18/19 yard handicap.
