On Feb. 26, the Fairbury B Radio Quiz Bowl Team took on the Sterling Jets Radio Quiz Bowl Team. The team consisted of Nichole Harris ’19, Isaac Robertson ’19, Jordan Ruhnke ’18, and Brylee Yantz ’21.
Fairbury B beat the Jets by answering a question right about the object that was raised on Iwo Jima. This is the team’s first win in the Radio Quiz Bowl Tournament. The team has a record of 1-1 because of a first round loss to Lourdes Central Catholic.
“I was really happy that we won the match,” said Robertson. “I thought we worked really well together as a team and it feels good to get that first win.”
The team’s next match will be March 6th against Axtell, Kansas.
