On Friday, February 16, the Jeffs traveled to Falls City to take on the Tigers. After the first quarter, the Tigers were ahead of the Jeffs 20-7. Despite their efforts, the Jeffs ended up losing the game 40-60.
“It was rough,” Adam Wasserman ’18 said. ” We didn’t start playing too good until the second half, but we could have definitely started a little better.”
The leading scorer for the Jeffs was Wasserman with 20 points. Eight of those points were Free-throws and the rest were two-pointers.
The Jeffs next game was the beginning of the sub-district tournament when they took on the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines at Norris.
