On Wednesday Feb. 7 four Fairbury football players signed to play football at the college of their choice. The band played the fight song as students, faculty, and families came to observe Cayman DeBoer, Adam Wasserman, Jacob Johnson, and Trent Grizzle ’18 sign their letters of intent.
“It was really special to have the support of classmates, teachers, family and friends, they all played some part or another in helping me play in college,” Johnson said.
DeBoer signed to Morningside, Johnson and Wasserman to Wayne State, and Grizzle to Chadron State.
“It’s not every year you get 3 D2 guys and 1 going to arguably one of the best schools in NAIA,” Coach Kameron Lenhart said. “I can’t wait to see what their future holds.”
