On February 5, senior Brock Barton signed with Doane college to participate in shotgun sports. These sports include trap, skeet, and sporting clays.
“I visited the campus and it all seemed right, I talked to their coach and we worked out a scholarship,” Barton said. “I also liked Doane because they focus more on education than they do sports.”
In the past, Barton has traveled near and far to compete in the ATA (Amateur Trapshooting Association). In two weeks, he will be traveling to Tucson, Arizona to compete in the Spring Grand.
