On the afternoon of January 31, the journalism staff presented the 2017-2018 yearbook convocation to the entire high school student body and staff members. Each member of the staff was recognized and they announced which position they held on the staff. The yearbook convo video was filmed and put together by senior and Yearbook Editor Emily Burkley. The staff got students from around the school to participate in their videos in hopes to entertain the audience.
“The goal of the convo is to make people aware of the things we do for the yearbook and gives us an opportunity to promote the things we do in journalism to record the events and provide a historical record of the 2017-2018 school year,” Adviser Jed Martin said.
Yearbooks are $55 without a name and $60 with a name. Yearbooks last forever and capture memories throughout each year spent at FHS. Buy a yearbook! All yearbook payments are due March 16.
