From a Jeff to a Mustang

On Tuesday, January 16, senior Destini Warnke signed with Morningside college in Sioux City, Iowa to further her softball career. Lots of students and teachers gathered in the gym at noon on Tuesday to watch Warnke sign, alongside her mom, older brother, and softball coaches, Taylor and Tony Biehl.

Warnke was a part of the high school softball team all four years of her high school career. “Diesel (Destini Warnke) was a vocal, positive leader for our group and that aspect of her game will truly be missed,” head coach Taylor Biehl said.

“I’m mostly looking forward to is starting my adult life. Starting in the medical field while getting the opportunity to play the game I love and travel while doing it,” Warnke said.
