Barnts joins the 100th win club

During the Central City meet last Saturday, January 6, Austin Barnts ’18 became the second senior wrestler to win his 100th match. Barnts defeated Jackson Tejeda from Central City.

“My 100th win felt like any other win really,” Barnts said, “I was just glad to get it out of the way. I felt a lot of support from the team, friends, and family when I got it.”

Barnts placed second overall in the tounrament and the score of his match was a 4-2 defeat.

Zach Reikofski ’18 is close to his 100th win and will most likely be the next to achieve this memorable accomplishment.
