In the third quarter the momentum shifted and Superior began chipping away at the Jeffs lead. Going into the fourth quarter, the Jeffs led 40-33.

“I believe the momentum that they were gaining help kick started our momentum,” Trevin Arnold ’19 said.

In what became an important fourth quarter, the boys stayed on top winning 50-42 with the Jeffs walking away with their first win of the season.

“I thought we stayed calm throughout the fourth quarter,” Chance Amundson ’18 said.

It was this poise that helped the Jeffs close out the Wildcats.

Adam Wasserman ’18 led both teams in the scoring game with 13 points.
