The boys’ season unofficially kicked off last Monday, November 27. The Jeffs traveled to Syracuse to take on the Rockets on their home court for a jamboree game.
The team had a great start leading The Rockets into halftime 20-19. Syracuse gained momentum in the second half taking down The Jeffs 57-43.
Like every team, there is room for improvement throughout this basketball season, but much improvement has already come with this team.
“The list is endless, but as a team we did things very well. Our ability to run the floor and get our opponent off balance has improved tremendously from last year.” Zach Holes ’18 said.
The boys’ basketball season officially starts with their first scheduled game this Friday against The Lincoln Christian Crusaders. Last year The Jeffs put up a tough battle against The Crusaders, but fell short 50-44.
