Trent Grizzle and Adam Wasserman both seniors at Fairbury played with Team Nebraska against Team Iowa on Saturday in the annual River Bowl Battle. This is a football game played between a group of top players from Nebraska and Iowa. The game was held at Treynor High School in Iowa. Team Iowa beat Team Nebraska 21-3. Adam Wasserman ’18 was named Defensive MVP of the game for Team Nebraska.
“The game was really fun. All of the linemen formed a quick bond,” Trent Grizzle ’18 said, “The experience was amazing, I felt like I was playing college ball, it made me excited for the next stage of my career.”
