FFA heads to Indianapolis

Along with the vigorous amount of other activities that come this time of year, National FFA Convention is one of them.

Nine members have journeyed to Indianapolis, Indiana for a week to grow closer in not only the organization but with each other. While there, they attended conventions, participated in recreational activities, and made connections with the surrounding states.

“Over the week we went on a tour and rode in a race car. It was the highlight of the trip,” FFA Secretary Sarah McCown ’18 said.

After departing on Wednesday, Oct. 25, the group is to have returned the following Sunday. Although the trip may have contained stress and excitement that leads to fatigue, it will be one to remember for the books.

“I think that this trip was great for all of the members to network with each other and other FFA members across the state and nation,” FFA Advisor Thomas Dux said.
