In the foods and nutrition class this week they were using their fruits to cook with. They split up in groups of four in the kitchens. Group one made berry smoothies, group two made fruit pizza, group three made coconut dream brownies and group four made strawberry banana smoothies.
They cook about once a week and they cook something different every time. Cooking takes up the whole 90 minutes of the class. Preparing the ingredients to getting everything they need to cook with then making it. Last of all cleaning up the kitchen takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
