On Friday, October 20, lone boys qualifier Isaac Robertson ‘19 competed in the state championship cross country meet in Kearney. Robertson ‘19 has been the third state qualifier for the boys in the last five years, placing 14th in the district.
“It was a great experience, I’m so happy I had the opportunity to run at state. I had so much fun this year, and have never felt more part of a team,” Robertson ‘19 said.
The windy weather was no obstacle for Robertson ‘19 as he placed 50th out of 93 runners, and was less than a second away from a personal best. The state meet concluded his successful junior year of cross country.
