On Thursday, October 12th Fairbury Cross Country traveled to Minden for the C-3 District Meet. The day ended with success for the girls’ teams, taking 3rd place and qualifying for the state meet this coming Friday.

The boys ran well and placed 7th with one runner, Isaac Robertson ’19, qualifying for state. ” It feels great [knowing that I’ve made it to state],” Robertson said, “The whole team has been working hard and for it to be paying off like this is great.”
Girls’ team captain Emily Burkley said, ” It’s definitely a good feeling knowing I made it to state. It’s relieving and fun knowing that my last race will be at state.”
Our runners will be competing again on Friday, October 20th at Kearney.
