On Monday, October 10th, several FHS students travelled to Doane University to participate in their fall Drama Conference. Students had the opportunity to pick a session to attend. Options included musical theatre, auditioning, acting, costume design, improvisation, stage acting, and more. Then, they were invited to watch Doane theatre students perform their fall show ‘Peter and the Starcatcher.’
“It was a really fun experience that reminded us to have confidence and to work hard in what we do.” Taylea Mills ’19 said about the conference. “It reminded us to bring our all to the stage.”
Students who attended are excited to bring back everything they learned and put it to work during Fairbury’s own performance, The Little Mermaid. Show dates include November 10, 11, and 12.
