Fairbury Jeffs Softball played their last District game on Monday, October 9, 2017 in Valparaiso. They lost a tough game to Malcolm with a final score of 11-3. They had a total of 8 hits. They also had 3 RBIs. The biggest hit of the night was a homerun by Claire Shumard. They finished the District tournament in second.
Since the Jeffs were ranked number 2 in wildcards points they automatically get to go to State. Their next game is Wednesday, October 11 in Hastings.
