By: Josephine Blatny On Wednesday, September 13, 2017 FCCLA members attended the Fall Leadership Conference. The students listened to the State Officer, State Peer Officer teams, and other chapter leaders about leadership development and chapter management.
One of the highlights of the day was listening to keynote speaker, Hunter Radenslaben. Hunter is a 2017 graduate from Waverly High School and created the successful Twitter account turned media company, Athlete Nation. He emphasized that participating in Career and Technical Student Organizations or other activities encourage a positive future for students.
There were 3 tracks for the attending members to go on, Chapter Leader, Next Level Leader, and New Member. Fairbury had 3 members go to Next level leader and 6 go to new members. “I think it was a good day and a good learning experience for our members.”
