The Fairbury Jeffs JV football team overcome the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors on Tuesday night, the score ending at 14-6. The Jeffs’ first touchdown was a pass from quarterback, Devin Wanamaker ’20 to Chance Amundson ’20. The second touchdown was another pass from Wanamaker to Quinton Gwin ’19. Carson York ’20 kicked both field goals. The Jeffs held the Warriors to only one rushing touchdown.
The Jeffs’ defense was lead by Dalton Buxton ’19 with 14 tackles and Trevin Arnold ’19 with eight tackles. Offensively, Carson York ran for 66 yards, Devin Wanamaker had 148 yards passing and Chance Amundson had 56 receiving yards.
