Girls Softball Against Auburn

On Tuesday, September 5th, Fairbury Softball played Auburn at home. The night started out with Jv playing a good game. With a score of Jeffs JV 3 and Auburn 2 after 5 innings. The girls ended the games with a tie at 3.

After JV was the Varsity game. The game started with Jeffs 1 and Auburn 2 at the end of the first inning. During the game, Claire Shumard hit not one, but two home-runs, one in the 2nd inning and the other in the 5th inning.

After 6 innings the score was Jeffs 11 and Auburn 4. Auburn did their best but Jeffs took the win 11-6 with Delaney Miller striking out the last Auburn batter with bases loaded.
