Fairbury Girls’ Golf came up short in their first dual in Fairbury on Thursday, August 24.
Leading the team score was Sara Mitchell ’19 with a 51, second was Evie Schwab ’18 with a 57, third was Lauren Patton ’20 with a 60. Casey Nimmich ’20 with a 65 and Shavara Kroeker ’18 with a 66.
The over all team score was 233. Coach Martin was happy to see the girls improve after their first invite in Beatrice. “They were able to take some of the things that they struggled with and make improvements on those. All of them improved their scores from Tuesday,” Martin said.
The team is in action today at Seward Country Club with more updates to come.
