This week we take a look at the 1980-1981 school year.
In the Blazer, the high school newspaper, the Journalism picked a vehicle called the Heap of the Month. This month’s winner was Phillip Luehring and his 1959 Blue Chevy Fleetside.
The 1980-1981 school year was the inaugural year that the Jeffs competed in the Central 12 Conference (now know as the Central 10). Fairbury’s last season in the Central 10 was 2016, when they joined the Southern Nebraska Conference.
