Warriors knock off Jeffs in overtime

On Friday, Feb. 10 the Fairbury Boys Basketball team played host to the Schuyler Warriors. The Jeffs jumped out to an early lead and led by a score of 26-23 at halftime. Schuyler fought their way back into the game and tied the score at 49-49 to end regulation.

The Warriors outscored the Jeffs in overtime to knock off the Jeffs by a final of 57-53. Adam Wasserman ’18 led the Jeffs as he had 14 points and 9 rebounds. Blake Bauer ’17 also had a solid night as he contributed 13 points.

The next competition for the Jeffs is Feb. 17 as they host the Falls City Tigers.
